We Survived!!!

3 parks, 3 days - we did it. There is so much to tell - but I will start with day one - Magic Kingdom. First off, Kali and Elissa had no clue where we were going, but there were lots of clues - they were wearing sweat pants and jackets that had Tink on one and Ariel on the other. Also, I was wearing a Mickey tee, and Carl had on a red Mickey polo - they just weren't real observant!: )
As we got closer to Disney, we started seeing signs, and finally saw a Pirate and Princess Party sign, and told them where we were going. I think the screamed for the next 20 minutes. We got to Disney and bundled up - because it was freezing. (Denise would have been thrilled!) Kali and Elissa didn't stop taling and looking around - they were so happy to be there - and we were still in the parking lot! We rode the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and made our way to a separate entrance for the P & P party and got wrist bands, the "treasure map" and a loot bag. We hit It's A Small World and Peter Pan, then headed to Cinderella's carousel - the lines were kinda long, but not too bad. Unfortunately, the temps were dropping, but the little ones were happy.
We were waiting in line for Dumbo when the fireworks went off for the closing off the park. We got some popcorn and water and waited for the start of the P & P party. Basically, at about 10 different locations, there were "treasure spots" - people handing out candy and beads. What we also discovered was that the park was nearly empty - which meant NO LINES!!!!
How cool! But first, we had to go meet Ariel - we ended up being the last group in before she went on break, so they spent a few extra minutes with the girls - they were a little scared at first - Prince Eric was with her, so Ariel asked Eric to move out of the way, and then she got the girls to come up a little closer so she could show them her dingelhoppers - she even let them comb her hair! She was very sweet and patient, and the Disney person in there had my camera and took several pictures. Kali even gave Eric a "far away hug" (you;ll have to see the pics to understand!)

More later....
